Will he be ready for marriage?

Two months ago i met my dream man.. we do match in many things.. however, he doesnt stop bringing bags to our relationship! I mean he can't give up the bad memories he had from his last relation (that ended 4 years ago, and that lasted for about 3 years). he has been dumpted by his ex in a brusk way..

We're getting along so well together with minimal "conflicts"..
we had sex already and we're compatible in bed too..

BUT he doesnt want me to leave my things in his home or to help him in house work... when i asked why.. he said that he s so afraid to be attached to me in a way that being apart will be so painful for him!!
i can see that he doesnt want to trust to avoid being dumped again.

last time i left my body lotion in his room, i told him "let it be here so i use it everytime i m here",, he didn't talk but i saw hesitance in his eyes.

my question is: will he be ready for marriage? and when,, i mean it depends on what?

Help please

years, maybe 2-3?

you always want to be completely sure you can live with a person the rest of your life before marrying them. If your proposed to earlier than that, it would be up to you though, because he may be throwing too much on the table at that point

This relationship is new... there is no way to tell if or when he will be ready. I can guarentee you that if you ask him, he will say he isn't ready.

Relationships need to build over time, some people are ready in a year for marriage, some longer. 2 months is no where near long enough to evaluate someones true measure.

I'd make sure that he's ready to take the next step like marriage before I said yes.. Or you'll be fighting his demons and still being his "wife" then you'll end up in Divorse court...
And maybe not leaving your stuff at his house, is a good idea...
and if he just wants sex, well you can get that anywhere and less hassle..

if you met two months ago, you've got a long way to go before he will be ready to commit to you for a lifetime. Take your time. Things will progress when they are ready, and when you are both ready as a couple.
