Should i do this program in college?

its called the FYE First year expierence and its at UNCG. its basically a program for about 100 freshmen and they help you transition from high school to college. they have programs and little things and stuff mostly group activities. i am really shy and afriad that i will just freeze up and not want to talk to anyone or just stay in my room and not want to do anything....so please tell me if i should do it or not...

i mean i dont want to be shy like i was in high school i want to make new friends but i just freeze up when i meet new people

Yeah I think you should go for it, everyones a little shy especially if you are going to a whole new environment. Dont forget everyone is in the same position as you, however some can make friends easier than others. So go for it, as university is such a fantastic experience, I dont know of anybody who wouldnt want to go back to University. You will meet alot of new people and im sure you will have a great time there too, good luck... peace .....
