Does anyone feel jealous of friends etc?

hiya im 33 single and just seem to be down all the time, im ok looking we actually im not very confident and always have hated the way i look.

im told i look a little like Kym Ryder ( the ne who plays Michelle in corri) but I never think so can never take a compliment either its awfull i punish myself the whole time and i do want to meet someone and settle down but i dont feel im good enough.

I have an old friend that has suddenly got back intouch after about 5 years (found me on facebook)
we fell out over money as she used to rent a room off me and she buggered off with out paying the last few months also we had a holiday and she lost every penny she had so i had to split my money but she never ever repaid me and that makes me so angry against her still even so after 5 years and im more pissed to the fact that i am struggling to keep a roof over my head and just general living is tight like most i guess, but she now has a good job, fella that is mad about her and she's

going out all the time and having a life and i feel so so jealous of her and im angry at myself for that why why why does anyone have that at time ?

I feel jealous of friends sometimes. Gore Vidal had it right

"Every time a friend succeeds, I die a little".

However it sounds like a) she didn't act very well
b) you find it hard to let go of negative feelings/memories.

I'd say b would be the reason why you feel down so often. It's easy to say but...cut yourself some slack.

o do not fell jealous of anybody or anything .. ive never got the jealousy thing, we are in control of our own lives{well most of us} , if we make the wrong choices or decisions, it is nobodys fault but our own, the mature thing is to accept this and move on , and spend time being positive and trying to acheive what we want in our lives

i have felt jealous at times, and its normal.
but not when it starts 2 ruin your life, try and except who you are, and be happy with your self and other people (men) will pick up on that and find that attractive.
