Problems at home?

My husband is a construction worker, so we are home alone 24./7 6 mo. of the year. we are ok if I stay in my room and watch tv all day long , so he can play on comp, or his x-box.

I have fibromyalgia and cant work but I cant help that and I try not to talk about it to him , it seems to make him very mad , and he hollars at me to go take a pill!
I get drs care and talk to Them. I cant stand his anger and bad temper tantrums and hes sure not helping me get better. I am an American and met him on the internet, and I sure did not know him. His temper problems started lmost immed. after marrage in 99. Now I am stuck..
I dont want a divorce, we are christians and go to Windsor Christian Fellowship. He has everyone fooled , they all think he is overweight and jolly, but they dont know the real man .I am miserable and dont know what to do . If u have any advise let me know , as I have no close friends or family here with me.

What does being a Christian have to do with staying in an abusive marriage? Find that in the bible and post it...................... though I am betting that you can't.

You either don't want to go, or are afraid to go.... or both. If you WANT to stay and work it out............ then by all means ask your husband to attend counseling with you. FMS is a tough disease.... and to many it is still an unproven conditition. Not to me as I've known several women who have it... but to your husband it may seem to be some mystery thing that makes no sense to him. Take him with you to your doctor so he can talk and ask questions about it.

If none of that works........... and if you have no kids together........... then I would suggest you go home to your mom. There's no reason to live with abuse..... surrounding yourself with positive upbeat people is one way of battling FMS..... not living like you are now...........

It sounds like a divorce situation if you cannot get counseling are there children I would go back home to my family maybe he needs to hear something else besides how much pain you are in you need to get something to occupy your time and do something for yourself it might be hard talk to your pastour you have the choice to stay married not be miserable

i am a christian too, but your husband doesn't sound like much of one! if you are in an abusive relationship, i don't believe God wants you to stay in it....the bible says that a man should love his wife as Jesus loves his church.... is this what your husband does?
