Why is it so wrong for me to not want life unless it's under the best conditions?

I live an incredibly laid-back life. Sit around, play games all day, have fun. No responsibilities, and I don't HAVE to do anything.

If I had to give up this life, I'd just let myself die right there.

Why do people find that so wrong? If I'm accustomed to not working for my easy life, why should I work for a harder one?

Is it not true that everybody wants to live under certain conditions? Most people want to live healthy, happy, etc. If none of those conditions are met, they'd probably give in aswell. My conditions are fewer, and simpler: That life is easy and I don't have to work for it.

The most common arguments so far are:
"Because everybody else has to!"
So just because somebody else has to, I have to? What kind of crappy argument is that?
"Because god said to!"
Atheist
"Family, friends!"
Would generally do the same.

I could throw a few dozen more out there off the top of my head, but I ran outta room...

Oh, and I'm not depressed, it's a rational, not emotional thought that has been thought out for years now.

I kinda have that ease at work...All I do all day is answer/ask and play yahoo! spades.

Well since you don't have to work like the rest of us, why not volunteer to help other people and make use out of your life that would help you and please God, and give you a great deal of meaning to your life, you are so lucky you don't have to worry about bills and rent and the mundane things of life. The best conditions are helping others, what will you say to God if you do nothing in life except play games and sit around. Just a suggestion.

what you are living is not called life. but we do have a word for you...LAZY. if you cant survive w/o those things then you are dead already.

Sounds like you are making excuses for being lazy.
