Looking for a room in Liverpool in June?

Hello guys,
I'm french and a big fan of the Beatles. As you know, Paul Mc Cartney is giving a gig at Anfield on the 1st June 2008.
My friend and I (28 and 26) are looking for a room for the week end of the 1st of June. We'd like to meet some people from Liverpool, coz we both love the city, Liverpool FC and the Beatles. That would be great to meet some scousers. So ?

The Embassie Hostel in Falkner Square is very popular with Japanese, Russians and Americans interested in music festivals. Though it was never an embassy it was (until the 1980s) the Venezuelan Consulate. See http://www.embassie.com/
