Can someone please advise me?


on how to gain weight?

I actually went into the ladies room after a meeting and cried for some time after someone commented on how skinny I was/am. I'm aware that I'm quite tiny. I try my best to gain weight but I can never seem to mantain it. I need some fullproof way of gaining and keeping the weight I gain. Sure there are factors that may be contributing to this... stress, depression, smoking (which I'm trying to quit). I have three full meals a day and snacks in between. I love food, I love it, I love it, I love it, but still nothing happens. Are there any products available in the South African market that can help me gain weight? I need to know from here first before I go beef up some dieticians bank balance. Help out guys, this is killing me... I'm tired of people asking me why I'm so skinny and that I dont look like I have a kid. Its beginning to get to me and I feel even more stressed and depressed. So are there any weight gain products?

I need to gain at least 15kg as I weigh 45kg which goes up and down on a whim. Friday I weighed 48kg's, right now I'm exactly on 45kg's.

The person who made that comment that made you cry was probably jealous of your small size. Try not to let it bother you. As you age, your methabolism slows down, so eventually you will be gaining weight (maybe). I hope you don't gain the weight and then start complaining that you're too fat/big as most women I know do. If you have a body image problem you probably will no matter what size you are. This may be a mental and not a physical problem.

Shoki sounds like we have the same problem and mine made worse because I am tall, but I eat rather well (maybe too well) and the weight just don't stick but I am heavier than you. You should try taking multivitamins or health drinks but continue to eat sensibly. Breakfast is really important so make sure that you have it. Have you ever been tested for worms? Think about it and I hope that you will gain weight soon.
