Talking to this guy I just met?

I just met this guy the other day and he works with my friend. We are close in age and he flirts with me a lot... I'm attracted to him. He comes over to the counter, talks to me, taps the counter to get my attention if I pretend I'm not looking at him and smiles at me a lot. So last night, after he left, I helped my friend finish her shift by cleaning the dining room. I walked over to the counter and looked through the door at the schedule and saw his last name (all the new people were written really big because of this meeting thing or something). When I got home, I sent him a message on myspace. I haven't gotten a reply back and he hasn't checked his account since March 21st.

Was what I did a bit too nosy and a turn-off? Should I have been a bit more subtle about it? I'm kind of nervous and a bit confused as what to do next.

its ok but dont do it again...hahah try to play a lil hard to get...jsut a lil cuz he does not reli know u yet so he might think your not interested......but yeah...just live on!

As long as it was a nice message like *Hey I saw you were starting at my Job* Thats fine! Can you get his number and text him? Or just wait for him to start to say Hello!
