I do correspond privately with a few people I met here personally, but haven't met any of them in the flesh, as we are separated by large distances. However, I have a slightly awkward situation, as I believe that someone I have answered questions for on a certain topic is now a close neighbour. What is the etiquette, when you realise that the person concerned would rather you didn't know? Discreet silence, of course!

Edit: No, they were not super personal questions. But since that person is one of my fans, I have to be very careful about what I ask, as your fans get to see all your questions!
