Is it possible for a super straight guy to want to mess around with another guy?

Ok. So this has been bugging me forever. A little background:

My former roomate is the straightest guy I have ever met. He has a girlfriend, has been committed to her for two years, has guy buddies, does typical things with them (watch sports, drink, talks about girls), tries to "pick up honnies" when out (at least he talks about it), and talks about getting back together with his ex.

And he says that, even drunk, he would never make out with or do things with a guy.

The confusing thing is that, while we are just friends, he is very affectionate with me, knowing I'm gay.

This weekend we had a very strange interaction. In our room, he stripped for me, made very suggestive hand motions to me, and even suggested we watch a porn together. He also always plays around by sitting way to close to me at times and being overly physical (more so than he is with his straight buddies)

I am so confused. What does this mean?

I guess I just find it weird that this guy is so affectionate with me, I guess you can say that there is an emotional bond, and he is very physical.

But at the same time, he is very heterosexual. Like, I'm trying to figure him out, but it seems as if he'll deny any advances I make to be more intimate with him. I dont know.

And what I mentioned happened this weekend. We went to Vegas. And what's even more interesting is that he didn't mind sharing the same bed with me. So we ended up sleeping together (not sleeping as in SLEEPING), but sharing the same bed.

A couple of thoughts:
1. Deprivation homosexuality. If his gf is holding out on him, he, like many guys in prison or the WWII army, might just want sex. (He probably thinks 'cause you're gay you give a good bj.)
2. He's teasing you.
3. You're projecting. You want him, so you interpret his behavior as him wanting you too.
4. He's really just bi and overcompensating.

Well he knows you are gay so he is probably just playing around with you.
