Is porn ruining my self-confidence or my confidence around girls (i am still a virgin)?

im a 19 year old single male. ive never had too much luck with girls. im a pretty good looking guy i guess, and i have a good sense of humor, etc. i just get really shy around pretty girls and im no good at approaching girls. i can approach and talk to new people with no problem, but not pretty girls. because of this i rarely meet new girls or go on dates, etc.im just lacking in confidence i guess. i kind of suffer from ugly duckling syndrome as i used to be very very overweight as a kid.

anyway, i have a rather large collection of porn on my computer...upwards of 25 gigs. i am actually running out of room on my laptop because of it. i am considering deleting them. i just think that all this porn actually makes me less confident when i am around girls. i'm not sure though if maybe it takes the edge off by relieving sexual tension or actually worsens my condition by putting this image of women in my mind. i get off like twice a day. which is healthier - keeping it or not?

Delete the porn. All of it. Find yourself a pretty woman thats not part of your "click" and ask her out on a date (already have a time and place when you tell her). Say it straight forward that you want her to do XYZ with her at XYZ time.

If she says no then you never have to talk to her again. If she says yes, dating a pretty girl could help you overcome this fear

Porn doesn't have to ruin your self-confidence. You'd probably be more motivated around girls if you took a break from it though.

Unless you reaallllly have a warped image of women to begin with, it's probably just taking away the sexual tension. Not a bad thing.

Yes it is, if all you care about is sex and a woman's body, girls pick up on that, even if you don't think your giving off any signs.

If porn ruined a guy's chances with girls, 99% of the men in the world would stay virgins. That is a butt-load of porn though...
