Ok I have been wanting to ask people I dont know....?

this question. I have had an experience in my life that isnt so unusual if you watch the news but, My family and friends think I should write this book anyway. I'm just not sure if I can relive this again for however many months or years it may take to complete. The pain it brings up is excruciating but It would be worth it if I could help just one person. It sounds cliche but I really do mean that.

I met my husband through my very good friend at work. We dated for a few years he seemed like the perfect man. Kind considerate and he was great to my 2 sons from a previous marriage. I couldnt believe I had found such a perfect partner. I loved him so much I felt completey blessed to have him in my life.

Early one morning after a weekend away, I was awakened by my husband turning off the tv. I lay there in the darkness waiting for him to come back to bed. I sat up, I could see him in my sons room. By the light of the fish tank I could see he was molesting my son.

Ok I guess I need to address the fact that this man is no longer my husband. Because of the response from Daniella. I reported him and after a long drawn out legal battle he is now in prison serving 51 years.

I would never allow this to continue. My children are my world, I brought them into this world to protect them until their adulthood and I take that job very seriously.

And then what happened???? Write the book, as cliche as you may think it is, it's still reality, and that just makes it more of an emotional book.

What kind of book do you want to write? A novel? A self-help? If written as a novel it could be fascinating, but only if written well. Do have any experience writing? If not I would go to a few classes, a community college should offer a few, or join a writer's group. Also, I have found that sometimes writing the worst things helps, but you must look at it critically and go to those dark places every time you write. Are you prepared for that? Writing for an audience is different from a purging of emotions so be careful. Good luck.
