Can someone correct this for me please (punctuation and all)?

There hasn鈥檛 been much going on in the Velvet Rope as far as people getting to know one another. I thought it would be a good idea to hold an AIM chat sessions, or perhaps a chat room box session. The chat could be held one night on a weekend, because people have other obligations during the week. This way we can break the silence and get more comfortable with one another. A meet More if you may.

"I thought it would be a good idea to hold an AIM chat SESSION (no 's')" OR "I thought it would be a good idea to hold AIM chat sessions." It depends on if you are holding a single, or multiple sessions.

"The chat could be held one night on the weekend due to the fact that people may have other obligations during the week."

The last sentence does not make any sense. Is that a typo?
