How can you tell if this meeting went well?

i went out with this guy for some pre-deployment fun at the bar. we actually met online.he wanted to go out before he gets deployed while i was bored. so i responded to his ad online.

1st we went to dinner then to a bar. im not really a bar person but i went with him instead. he respected the fact that i dont drink nor am i a bar person so we pretty much just chat while at the bar. we had fun tellng stories.

the bar closed at 1 am so we left. while driving, he asked me if i wanted to go get something to eat. i said yes so we went to a restaurant & had breakfast. we again had fun chatting.

he drove me back home around 4 am, saying he was glad i responded to his ad. later, when i went to my room & went online, he was there so we chat again about stuff. we ended our online chat around 7 am. =)

the following days we chat again online. on the 24th he got deployed & didn't hear anythinf from him. however, on the 30th he sent me an email w/ his military address asking me how i wa

he sent me an e-mail asking me how i was doing.

Ok, I am putting myself in this guy's shows for starters. For one, sounds like you talked and shared alot about each other. Thats good. Hope there is a lot in common there. 2nd, he email ya while he is over seas. Just wondering from where. I have some good guesses. He emailed ya to see how you are doing and is probley testing to see if he has kept your interest. I am sure you did judging from this and now you have given him a very good reason to come home. Keep chatting. I will say that the military life is sometimes not easy on family but it is a great life to be sure. I am an Air Force brat so I know that there is down sides to this there are wonderful things about it too. Hang in there. If it is to be, I am sure he will sweep you off your feet in style when he is back. I know I would. Later.
