I guess i didn't make my last question very clear, Babysitting during the super bowl?

I have a 2 year old boy and a 3 year old girl that i am babysitting during the super bowl. My six year old sister will be with me too, she said she would help. I guess we have to keep them quiet and out of the living room. Only my mom is going to be home with her book club meeting, and i am babysitting my dad's best friends' two kids. What should i do? What can they eat?
Thanks

Have some coloring sheets available, and be sure to plan plenty of fun games to keep them happy and occupied! Kids that age have very small attention spans- they will only focus on an activity for a few minutes. Try games like building a "tent" out of sheets and blankets, using chairs or a table for a foundation (lots of fun!) Put pillows in the tent, some books, and give them flashlights. Other games- freeze dancing (while music is playing, they dance, when the music stops-you pause it- they have to freeze. Then start again!), hiding an object and having them find it (don't make it hard), playing hot potato, hide and seek, doggie, doggie, where's your bone, etc. Have some books to read to them, maybe some dress up clothes, some of their favorite toys, etc. Ask their parents to prepare food ahead of time for them so you don't have to have that distraction- maybe a paper bag dinner or something. I'm sure you'll do great!!

that is a question for the parents of the kids, they should let you know what they can and cannot do, and eat.

try makign them a sandwich with sum chips and a little juice u can try to get them little cups with the animal faces

Always ask the parents what to feed them (and esp what not to feed them). Keep them all in one room filled with toys and books, and you will be surprised how easily they will entertain themselves. With that many children, they will have a blast with each other.

Warm aerial will make them sleepy. Babysitting beats watching the super bowl. Personally, I had rather watch paint dry.

First ask their parents what they can and can not eat. You want to give the kids healthy food like carrots and sandwiches BUT you also want to give them food call 'bargaining food' that helps them behave like some potato chips (not a lot) but just a bit of junk food to make them feel like they arent being deprived.

Play games if you can, tv isnt so bad...maybe the kids parents have some cartoons their kids love to watch.

give them baby foods. or just orange huice in a baby bottle. make sure you have crayons and drawing papers to keep them company. years years years ago, when i was babysitting my youngest sister - when she was 2 years old, i fed her bread dip in milk (or chocolate milk).
hope this helps and good luck!!

go to pbsparents.com...great site for info you are looking for...enjoy the kiddos

I have three kids and honestly the best answer is to just ask the parents what they enjoy doing. coloring probably isn't the best idea for a 2 year old, but it depends on his skills and if he likes coloring on walls. You can always rent some kids shows/movies at blockbuster if the parents are ok with tv watching. As far as what to eat... anything cut up that won't choke them EXCEPT PEANUTS OR HONEY. Kids that age are pretty easily entertained as long as you get on the floor and play with them. If you get a movie, I know my 2 yr old son LOVES the wiggles!!!! anyway, you will do fine!!!

there mom and dad should tell you what they can eat.. just play with them color and just have fun.. play hid and seek with them if they now how to play. um read to them. maybe put in a move just one not to much tv for them. just have fun.. maybe you or your sister could play with the 3 year old and the other one play with the 2 year old at there leave of learning and or just play together..

Kids love to color and do art projects. Have some games like blocks or puzzles they can do. Toy cars? You could read to them. If you have nice weather where you live let them play in your yard or take them for a walk. If all else fails have a movie they can watch (hopefully there is another tv where you will be.)
If you don't have that kind of stuff, I would call your dad's bf and ask him to bring that kind of stuff with him for his kids. Because he probably has that kind of stuff. You could also ask him what his kids like to eat, especially because some kids have allergies.
Otherwise how could you go wrong with peanutbutter and jelly sandwhiches. If you like to cook make them macaroni and cheese or chicken nuggets. Get some carrot sticks or cut up an apple for them. You could probably give them a couple cookies or graham crackers for desert. They probably drink milk or juice. Hope I helped!

taking them to the park is great for the day. then again if u need to watch kids u need to. if they occassionally run into the living room its fine. the boys got that TV so loud they wont hear a thing but the calls during the game and their own screaming. as for eating it all depends on allergies but fresh veggies r great if ur on the go
