My boyfriend is going to amsterdam with a girl i have never met for a vacation...help?

I have been in a long-distance relationship with my boyfriend for 3 years(I am in India, he's in the U.S.). My basis for trusting him was that he tells me everything, so i know what he's up to. now he decides to go to Amsterdam over spring break with a girl i have heard of but never met, despite the fact she has been in town when my bf was here. I haven' even spoken to her online ever, so i have no idea what she's like. He tells me about his decision after he has booked his hotel room and got his visa. turns out he was also staying at her place 2 years ago, he had told me he was staying with a friend. I assumed it was a guy, and it turns out it was her. he says he didnt think it was important to tell me that. i have no issues with him staying at her place, but not only is he going on a vacation with her, but he hid the fact that he stayed in her house 2 yrs ago. we were really serious, planned to get married and told our families that. and now this happens, please help.....

ask him if you can talk to her
or meet them in amsterdam.
the whole thing sounds weird though, why havent you moved to usa yet if you have been dating for 3 years? I would think that he would rather go on a vacation to see you or go somewhere with you.

He's going to Amsterdam with this chick to get stoned on hash and cheat on you. Sorry.

That does sound pretty questionable.

Most people would tend to avoid things that could be misinterpreted, like vacationing with a female friend and staying in the same hotel/house (unless, say, part of a larger group: not much hanky-panky likely in a crowd of people crashing in a hotel room). This goes double if either is in a relationship with someone else. I could see if they're best friends, strictly platonic, and trying to save money... but... if it's so innocent, it's very odd indeed that he's hiding her from you.

Most people want to "share" their best friend with their significant other -- hope that they get along well, impress each other, etc., since both are significant parts of their lives. Since he HASN'T even introduced you -- even when it seems like it should have been convenient, when both in town -- there may be something else about the relationship he's hiding... either from you, or from her, or both.

Why you do long distance relationship.You should not trust him. He is cheating. Sorry to say that but i am in your side. Be strong girl ! I cheer you up.

I'm seeing red flags. I'm sorry but I wouldn't trust this if it were me. Hes already been dishonest with you at least once (that you know of). Why not come see you for spring break? Or ask you to go with him? I'd say, get out of that situation now. Start the healing process now. Some thing I feel is inevitable. Staying in that situation any longer will cause you even more pain to overcome later. I'm so sorry. I know what your feeling. :(

i would trust your guy...maintaining a long distance relationship is so difficult and your guy would not keep you in his life and give you the attention and effort he doesn if he is not very serious about you!

guys in the US have friends that are female...this is perfectly normal and they are just friendships, he is making future plans with you because you have his heart and not this girl...

if he was attracted to this girl 2 years ago you would be history and she would be his girlfriend now...so dont be too worried, if you freak out now he will think you do not trust him!!

they will have fun in amsterdam and im sure you will be in his heart and mind - being apart from you is hard so its good that he has a full life and is seeing the world!
