When you get a phishing e-mail for PayPal, do you forward it to them, like they ask you to do?

I always do. I've had four today. One once looked so convincing I might have fallen for it if I didn't know it was the wrong e-mail address.But, actually, I am smart enough to go directly to the site, rather than following a link. It had a box on the right, about security, and said to type in the address, instead of following the link. I went to the PayPal site, and they say to forward all phishing e-mails, so now I do. That's some dangerous phishing. I get so many of them. And Bank of America, too. Of course, no phishing is safer than the other, but it just seems easier for theives to use, plus there's so much of it. I want PayPal to keep me as safe as possible. That's why I use them, plus it's so convenient.

What about you? I'm just wondering.

I get emails like that too, but I don't even have an account at Paypal, so it's pretty obvious that they are phishing. There is a lot of phishing going on from people here on yahoo. There is one guy who sets up an account on Answers who goes by the name Custom Care Yahoo Security who sens emails telling people they need to verify their account info or they will be deleted, and asks for their password, date of birth, etc. I have seen a number of people ask about this, and a lot of people answer by saying they should ignore it. What they don't realize is the problem won't go away if they ignore it. If they report it, yahoo can trace the person's IP address and take action against them.

I haven't had a phishing notice about PayPal, or even eBay in a long time. But when or if I get one, they are forwarded immediately.
