Why can't I see pictures on g-mail?

I sent an e-mail from my sbcgloabl.net e-mail to my gmail account, but it won't show the pictures in the e-mail. I clicked on the "show html images" link but i still cannot see the pics. Anybody know what I can do to be able to see the pics? Thanks!

Oh and I don't know if this makes a difference but the e-mail was a forward, so the pictures (as far as i know) weren't an attachment.

open up a hotmail email account, then forward your gmail forward letter to your new hotmail email account then try and open your forward there. Really not sure why gmail is having problems with your forwards with photos.
