New Mail Feature, Automatic original text ..?

dont know if anyone else is not liking this feature besides me. It's when you click on Reply and the entire original text becomes part of the new email.

I find this is annoying, esp if you are replying to one of those forwards that has a bunch of pictures in it.

When you delete the text that was copied to a blank email, it leaves that blue line that continues down the screen. Annoying... this feature should be optional shouldn't it ?

I emailed Customer Service last night and here is the reply I got:

3) More flexible signature options

Thing is, I'm Not loving all of these changes, What do you think, should we keep letting Yahoo what we like and don't like, it doesnt seem like they will do much with regards to feed back.

This mail thing should be an optional feature we can choose, shouldn't it ?

OH, they answered you question all right----they just found a nice way to say-----"that's just the way it is----like it or not----you're stuck with it".

They removed the option that previously allowed you to choose: "include original message--or--not to include it". Other options have also been removed or drastically limited---(that are equally unpopular).

But, that link they gave you doesn't tell you about all that---does it ??
It gives you a list of changes---yes----but it doesn't end with that list---there's more coming, I'm afraid.

I don't know if "feedback" would be ignored or not ----but that shouldn't keep us from giving them a piece of our mind.

i dont like some of these new changes either. doesnt seem like yahoo really answered your question and just probably has some standard reply format they send out to people.

i wish they would let the users choose whether they want to include the text in the reply or not too

I actually do not get the picture.

There are no changes to my Classic Mail. Are you sure you are using Classic Mail?

I also find that old features are better than new features.
