Is it possible to send a e-mail with an attatchment...?

*that can't be altered (I guess PDF...?) and cannot be forwarded by the recipient to someone else?...
even if it was saved under a different name?

Using password protection you can do in PDF format or compress it using winzip and use 256 bit password protection but it is not possible that user to forward the E-mail because after sending him, you have no control over that file.

You can change the extension to any unknown file type, this might prevent the third user to open the file.

You can send a PDF file after you copy it, and that will prevent the attachment from being altered, but once the e-mail is received by the recipient, the receiver can still send the e-mail, attachment or both to whomever they want. We're still not able to have the attachments self-delete a few minutes after the are read by the recipient or stay on only one computer after they are sent.

I would suggest if you have something that sensitive, you need to arrange a meeting and simple show that person what you have.

no. The only thing that MIGHT work is upload it as an image into a webhosting site like photobucket. Then after they have seen it or read it you can delete it from the site (which destroys the link) and they won't be able to see it again using the link....unless they copied and pasted the image on their computer.

As far as not being altered, yes putting it in a PDF format is a great way to do that

Unfortunately, once you've sent an attachment, the file is transferred. You can use security and require a password that you only give one person, but there's nothing you can do to prevent the actual "transfer" of the file via email. In other words, you can't stop someone from forwarding it.

Sorry...
