How do I get into the address book when I want to e-mail a letters?

I am at a loss to find where to get into my contacts and I need to know that in order to forward. All I can do now is reply or type in the address. Thanks pcwood45@yahoo.com

In Classic--
After you have clicked on compose or forward-----then, click directly on the word TO and your mailing list opens.
Check each name you want to send to and THEN click the "insert checked contacts" tab.

In the New Mail-----same as above except you click "OK" to insert the addresses.

after hitting compose, there is a Small blue print that says add address, at the top hit it and wait.

Sounds like your classic mail was upgraded. Look for the words "What's New" click there to see the changes, things added and removed. I still have General Preferences under Options....
