Yahoo Mail Question??

How do I remove headers when forwarding a message? I cannot find an answer on Yahoo!!!

Are you talking about all the previous addresses that were accrued before getting to you ?

You have to click on forward first-----then highlight what you want to remove and then press the delete key on your KEYBOARD and they're gone in a flash.

With Yahoo ??
Sometimes you will see nothing in the forward window, in which case---click the down arrow next to the forward tab and choose "as inline text". That allows you to edit as described above.

In some cases---Yahoo has removed the down arrow, making it impossible to edit.
So-----do this instead.
Click on "reply" instead of "forward", and you'll be able to edit it, in that window, before sending.
However-----(since you aren't wanting to actually "reply")----you will also, now, have to change the TO line.

When you open a mail, at the bottom right corner there is an option as Full headers/ Compact Headers. Click on Compact Headers. It will hide the full headers
This is a new feature by Yahoo. Otherwise the old method was to go to Options/General Preferences/Full Headers. There you could opt out of Full Headers.

    Instead of forwarding hit reply and do your edit there. I get forward emails all the time with FAR too much information. Best to edit it anyway and this is how its best done. Hope that helps.
