Who can we forward e-mails to that are asking for money to get money,from someone in another country...?

My spam filters still let them though,Why can't Yahoo stop them,they are not even addressed to me

If the scam messages that came from Y! Mail accounts, they should be sent to:
phishing@cc.yahoo-inc.com
mail-spoof@cc.yahoo-inc.com

Also, send them to:
spam@uce.gov

It would help immensely if you, and others, would not open this crap then rush here to complain about getting it. Every time you open spam, you send a notice to the spammer that gives him your email address and id. He collects and sells that information to other spammers, and then the spam increases.

Barkley Hound is correct - your name doesn't have to appear in the To field, as long as some near variation of your email name appears in the BCC field. Stop opening and reading this junk, just click on spam, and you will be able to cut down greatly on the amount of crap you get.

Your address is in the BCC field which is hidden. The TO field can be anyhing.

Yahoo has a single spamguard filter for all free accounts. When you mark something as spam it does not become spam immediately. Multiple people must report it.

You also have a blocked address list for your own use. It is in spam options. Anything listed there is deleted immediately. You never see it anywhere. Since spammers constantly change their address the list is of limited use.
