How did that happen?

Okay, well just a few minutes ago, this person signed in on my msn list. He said hi and I asked him who he was. He told me his name and said that he added me through a forward message (but I don't know anyone with his name.) He asked me if I wanted to chat but I said no, and then so he just said "ok take care" and I blocked and deleted him from my msn list.

You know how when someone adds you to their list, a small box appears on your screen with that person's e-mail address, asking you if you want to accept it or block and delete them? Well in this case, I don't remember seeing that with his e-mail address or anything.

How is it possible that he added me without me knowing?

open MSN

privacy
VIEW
if his name is on that list you are on his contactlist
so go to your blocked list
look for his name
right click
'delete'

anyway there is a way to chat with sb on MSN without adding him
maybe the person used that trick
