for a God fearing person that will utilize his money the way I am going
to instruct, and even the sister that help me in this regard doesn't
know the purpose for which I intend to use it, and I want to believe
that you are a God fearing person, then it will be very easy to finish
this mission but if you are not lead in your spirit to go further
please decline from responding to this mail.

Remain Blessed
Mrs. Mercy Miner.

This is illegal "phishing" spam sent in order to get sympathy and money. Block this sender immediately. You can also block senders from outside the country you live in. I got several of these, up to 5-or more a day for a time. I reported them to the government (U.S.)

Look up illegal "phishing" government websites and download their email address to your mail box. Then forward all of this junk to them to catch the source. Most of them are coming from Africa or outside the U.S. They send your email address to a thousand others who will solicit in same or similar manners.

So block all mail from outside U.S. This stopped nearly all of mine. I get maybe 1 every 2-3 months now.

Nigerian scam. They're first trying to establish a line of communication with you. Anytime you get a friendly message from a person or company you don't know, it's a scam!

This is absolutely fake. I have received quite a few of these. The scenario always changes a little, but it is still the same. This doesn't even sound right at all.

Hell yea it is. I get them all the time. Sometimes I respond back to them cursing them out.

Dateline and 20/20 had specials on hoax emails like this.

Is there any reason to believe this? Do you know this person? Why would someone trust this much money to someone they have not met?

Con artists depend on other peoples greed.

Yes, it is definetly a fake !

oh no no no!

e-mails such as this arent trustworthy!

doubt is dangerous, if you dont trust it 1000000%, then dont follow it.

Yeah its a fake, just delete it and forget about it :)
Anyways a doctor wouldn't give out you information.
Good Luck!

Yes, its a hoax

Why would they lie? Call them immediately. Get the money to help the children!

drop this thing like a hot rock

This is a 419 scam, so named for the Nigerian law against fraud.

If you do this, they will clean out your bank account.

If you want to have fun, reply that talking to the lawyer is unnecessary and that she should forward you the bank name, routing number, and account number where the money currently is and you will have the money wired into your account.

You will never hear from them again.

Yes

What I have done for those types of e-mails is open a fake e-mail account, e-mail them back from that account, and mess with them. There is a website that is dedicated to messing with these scammers.

http://www.419eater.com/

They have a fake Western Union sheet that the scammers will most likely ask for. You can send them to Western Union a few times and get a laugh when they curse you and yours for scamming them.

Delete it, it's the old, old, old Nigerian scam, they even made a music video about how rich they are getting from stupid Americans who fall for the scam...it was number one for a long time, don't add yourself to the list. Remember the axiom: "If it sounds too good to be true...it is."
