Was I wrong..who should be angry?

I have been exclusive with this guy for quite awhile. He is talking marriage. My intuition told me he was not faithful, so I wanted to keep it casual. We got into an arguement and he gave me his login info for a social site to check out his comments. I did not want to. However the login info layed there and I looked and looked at it. I went to his personal email and tried the login, and it worked. I read all his mail. There was many hurtful emails about me and how he was not serious, how he was using me etc. I forwarded all them to my email so I would have access to them. This is a big war. He says I was wrong to enter his email. I say he's a fool to give me his info. We are still fighting but will probally make up. Who should be angry...him or me? The emails I read were very damning and derogatory about me. Also he was pursuing other women. Yes and all I can say is "the devil made me do it"

The answers so far have have been very terrific. I must add though that the login info was for the social site only. I went to his AOL mail and tried it and he was stupid enough to have the same password there. He did not give me permission to login on AOL. Does this make a difference?

The devil didn't make you do anything! This jerk tried to test you and see if you'd check his site, but guess what, he's a bastard! He's the douche who's saying horrible things about you, and then trying to make you feel like the bad guy for checking the email he gave you access to. Why would you even think of taking someone back when you've found the evidence you've found? You have every right to be upset because you're worth so much more, really. No one deserves to be used, and may anyone who does use someone be damned to a taste of their own medicine. Wake up and move on, I guarantee you your local butcher is a better catch then this jerk!

U r the 1 who shld b mad ,f he didn't give u his info u wldn't hav logged in so he saw it coming, if he started 2 talk 2 ya about trust and tht BS u shld tell him tht u thank god u logged in because if u didn't u could still b in doubt now u're sure tht he's not serious so...................u know wat u gotta do (ths is wat i'd do if i were u)good luck

why are you still fighting about was it ok to enter to his e-mails? he is not being honest and that is that! Stop letting him twist your mind like you did a bad thing.. it was not ok, but now you know he's not worth it!!

Your intuition seems to be accurate, given your version of events. Sounds like you two might be better off at least taking a break, if not splitting up altogether...

he gave u the emailo info so that is his fault and u don't need to waste anymore time on this guy move on and remeber there are more fish in the sea

well i think that he WANTED you to see the e-mails. In this way he can break- up with u more easily.
