Forwarded Emails?

Why when people send forwarded emails they don't blind copy them, instead they mass mail them so you can see other people's email addresses? That's how people get spammed because your email address is invisible to everyone else and that's how spammers get access to free emails addresses to spam.
When I do forwarded emails, I always blind copy them.
What do you think?

I have several friends who every morning I can count on for several forwarded messages that not only do I not want, but don't need....and I also don't need to know about the 20 other people who sent them before. I think it is rude and I think it is wrong. There are some people who care about their privacy and I am one of them. I've talked to them and sent them EM's about these EM's but they continue to send them to me. I worry that they may be sending my EM's I send to them the same way so I finally stopped sending them EM's all together. It's tough love, but I had to. Why don't people blind copy messages, it is so easy!!!! I so agree with your response and give you a star for your thought!!!

I've quit opening or forwarding anything that has "fwd" in the subject line for this exact reason. I have several friends that I would love to hear from, but if they attach a personal message to a forward, I'll never know it because I won't even open it.

I think the only way we're going to make a dent in the spamming is to keep making people aware of the problem and asking a question in this forum is a good start.
