What is a good way to answer chain emails from family or friends that offend me?

It seems some people have nothing better to do. I just received an email ' Have a Heart' stating " Give this heart to everyone you don't want to lose in '08 including me if you care."
This offends me in that it implies that if I don't forward this stuff ( hearts and baby pics) that I don't care.
I'm trying to think of a way to let them all know I do care but I'm sick of these chain mails.
Many imply that if you don't you will have bad luck etc. This is so old.

You could try what I've successfully done, which is to not respond to any of those emails, only to emails with an actual personal message. Then, if asked about why you don't respond back, just tell them your spam filter must have blocked it (even though it really didn't.)
I very rarely ever get junkmail from family any more, just real mail, using this method.

Just send out a multi email to everyone saying.

Hi i just want you all to know that I love each and everyone of you but it takes up so much time to reply to the thousands of chain mail everyday that i recieve so ill say it here in this email that i care about you all and i hope you will respect my decision not to forward them all on.
