Spam E-mail?

My mother foolishly forwarded her full name, home address and contact number to a blatant e-mail scam. Thankfully she didn't forward any copies of ID or any bank details. Is there anything they can do with the information she sent? Surely they could retrieve such information from a phone book? She is very worried. Thanks in advance.

They will probably try to contact her by phone or email because they see her as taking the bait. Just warn her not to give any more details out and just hang up.

They wont need much more info to perpetrate a scam now.
Your mum will just have to keep a close and continuous eye on all her dealings for at least a year.

They could use this info. She should inform her Bank, any other accounts etc what has happened.
