I live in phoenix Arizona, and about 6 months ago I mailed my application for naturalization.? |
I am leaving to New York to open a small business. That means I have to rent an apartment in New York, and live there for a while. I am not going to sell my house in Phoenix. It is still my main residence and my home town. Does this have any effect on my application? Do I have to contact USCIS? Can I have 2 residences? I am not going to do mail forwarding, but I am going to be getting mail at my new address in New York. Do I even have to tell them about my ne business in New York? If I switch my license to New York driver鈥檚 license, does this mean my application is going to be moved to New York? You have a right to two residences BUT one has to be your primary... which means only one can be where you are registered to vote and where your drivers license says. I spend the majority of my time at my beach residence but my license and mail goes to my address 4 hours away... this is legal because that is where I receive my mail. |
