Do I report these e-mails as well...? |
A few weeks ago I received what was supposed to be a e-mail from my bank asking for certain details. I phoned my bank and was asked to forward it to their security dept., as they never send e-mails like this. It did turn out to be fraudulent (which I suspected anyway). I have since received numerous e-mails from a different bank requesting different informations. Do I pass these on too or just delete them? Thanks. Pass the infos to your bank as well as the banks the emails are claiming to be from so you can help others. And thank you for being smart and suspecting something was up, not many people do that anymore. I would forward them to the bank they are supposedly from - even if you don't have an account with them - it will help them shut down the phishers I had this problem as well. Just ignored them and deleted them. They must think I was born on the banana boat or something lol |
