http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Windows... How do I forward my Yahoo! Mail Plus mail to another account?
Forwarding is as easy as it sounds.
First, click Options in the upper-right corner of your Mail page and select Mail Options.
From the list on the left, click POP & Forwarding, then in the middle of the page click Set up or edit POP & Forwarding.
In the bottom half of this page, click inside the circle next to "Forwarding". Then enter the email address in the blank and click "Save."
Zing! 鈥?your mail now gets forwarded to that email address.
Note: You can鈥檛 simultaneously Forward and POP your mail.
-------------
If you are using regular Yahoo Mail
On the forwarded email that you received, click 鈥楩orward鈥s Inline Text鈥?
A new email page will open for you to edit the email. Delete all the addresses shown on the 鈥楥C鈥?and 鈥楤CC鈥?field.
You may also edit the body of the email if you want.
When you are ready to insert addresses, to add an entry in the 鈥楥c:鈥?and 鈥楤cc:鈥?fields, click the "Show Cc: and Bcc:" link to the right of the "To:" field.
Click 鈥楥ontacts鈥欌€o open your Address Book.
Click at the contact name you want to be 鈥楥c鈥檇鈥?br>
(Cc: stands for "carbon copy." Anyone listed in the Cc: field of a message receives a copy of that message when you send it. All other recipients of that message can see that the person you designated as a Cc: recipient has received a copy of the message.)
Click at the contact name you want to be 鈥楤cc鈥檇鈥?
(Bcc: stands for "blind carbon copy." This is similar to the Cc: feature, except that Bcc: recipients are invisible to all the other recipients of the message (including other Bcc: recipients).
For example, if you send a message To: johndoe@yahoo.com and Bcc: janedoe@yahoo.com, then johndoe sees himself as the message's only recipient. Janedoe, on the other hand, is "in the know"鈥攕he can see that you sent the message To: johndoe, and that you blind-copied her.)
Note: To send a message, you must always specify at least one recipient in the "To:" field.
If you don't, an error message appears when you attempt to send the message. |
