Questions about forwarding and email accounts?(i'm getting kinda angry)?

heres the situation. my email account was created by my friend and it was connected to his account.
to make things simpler, he has two gmail accounts. my account is connected(forward) to his account, which i'll call Gmail 1. and i suppose Gmail 1 is connected(forward) to Gmail 2.
it doesnt matter which email he is using, will he still see my email? i've been using my email since last year and just disconnected him an hour ago. does that mean that he can read EVERY SINGLE mail i receive and send? including my all my passwords and all the my personal emails? does that mean he might have been secretly reading ALL my mails?

It's possible. You'll have to create another mail account to link your Gmail account to. Unlink from the other Gmail account. Since your on here I assume you have a yahoo account you could use.

You'll have to change your Gmail account password, and secruity question as well. Then they won't be able to read anymore mail that goes to that account.

But if your account is just an alias for his, and not a full account or if the mail goes to his mailbox first, and then is forwarded to your account this won't work. It may be best to just open your own account completely new from scratch. That's the only way to be 100 percent sure in your situation I think.

Depends on the settings, if it is an ALIAS, then he can read all the mails, but this would mean, that those adresses are the same. But by forwarding it depends, if he deletes automatically the forwarded mails on his account or not. (I assume not, he might be a controll freak).
