Do you know any one with annoying e-mail habits?

I have a friend who is on a "positive" kick, and she sends me about 8 forwards a day (or more) with positive tone - about "being all that you can be", "love yourself", "life is too short" and yadda yadda. I'm all for positive, but it is really annoying the hell out of me to have this crap show up in my box several times a day. She also sends out a "newsletter"/blog about her thoughts each Friday, and once again it is all "life is so short, I love life, be positive, life is good, everything is sunshine." Ironically her positive vibe has really made me negative :). Do you have people who annoy you via e-mail too?

oh, boy...Would you believe an elderly man at church asked for my email address so that he could send me pics of our pastor at an event. Would you believe this man first send the pics, then the next thing he sends is a forward of a joke about a little girl asking her mom if her dad left her because she got an "f" in sex!!! (the little girl saw the "f" for sex on the mom's driver license)...I was like...ummm...he doesn't know me well enough to do that! now he keeps sending me..."return this to me..." forwards that claim something good will happen if I do!!!???

sounds like she is trying to convince herself to be more positive... be sure to have a real conversation with her soon and make sure she is ok..

I have a brother in law that was "saved" by right wing religious nuts... We got emails from him denigrating our church for months. We finally had to get very rude to make him stop.
My niece... emails me EVERY SINGLE internet rumor that she gets.
Other than those two, I have been able to shut down all the others.
It does ruin your day to get stuff like that. You dread even checking your email because you know there's gonna some useless crap in there. People who do this are as bad as spammers.

I have a friend who NEVER answers any questions I have asked, she never asks after me, she never comments if I have said I am sad or if something has upset me, last year I had an accident and got burns all down my arm, she has never once asked me how I am, have I recovered etc, she ignores everything I have written except anything that has to do with her. I still love her though!

YES.....I hate those "long" winded pass this on to 5 people, chain ones!!!! GRRRRRR! Thanks I feel better(:

That sounds sooo annoying! I know a few people who send those stupid forwards on that are just shams (like if you forward this you will get a gift certificate from the Gap, or a kid dying of cancer will get money for each person you forward this to), or those have a happy day/you're a strong woman/etc. emails that say to send to X people including the sender. Chain emails drive me nuts. It sounds like your friend definitely takes the cake though!

I have a "positive" friend too lol.. I just click delete now without reading them.

I have contacts that have nothing else better to do than fwd. everything to me!!! Most of it is junk and I go thru and delete it all!! This is time consuming and I know I have to do it every morning as I check emails.....

I don't receive such forwards at all. I do get interesting ones and those pps. I hate those that tell me to send to all those I care about. It's as if they are using me to send out viruses.

I also get "power of prayer" e-mails from a former coworker all the time, but I just ignore them. I don't want to upset her, or cause her to witness to me, so I don't ask her to stop.

My friend tends to send me a lot of the positive chain mails. i use to enjoy them but now I just delete them without reading them.

I hate it when people send stupid messages to my cell phone or leave me voice mails with animal noises. Also those ones where it says call this number for a short survey and get a gift cert and its some gay chat line. Some people are so annoying!
