USPS change of address online question?

Hi
This is kind of complicated. I used to live in an apartment complex in Apartment no A1, but i moved to a shared house and filled out a change of address online with USPS. I dont like it here and i am moving back to the same apartment complex but apartment number B1.
So can i still use the same service i used online and since this is a house i want only my mail forwarded to the new address, not all the occupants.
So, Should i go to the post office or do it online?

YOU'D BE BETTER OFF DOING IT ONLINE!!!!!

That way you have a record, it's quicker and it takes out 1 more person who can make a mistake. But what you'll want to do is CANCEL the OLD Change andput in 2 changes 1 from your 1st place to your newest and 1 from your 2nd place to your newest. IF you do just 1 from your 2nd place, then you letters from your 1st wil be forwarded 2x and can take a month to get to you.

I dealth with a similar issue when I changed apartments within the same building. Yes, you need to complete a change of address form. Your request may be get more prompt attention if you complete a manual form and submit to your letter carrier -- but online address changes are probably just as effective.

The change of address only affects mail addressed to you.

Also, make sure your name is removed from the old complex's mailbox and added to the new mailbox. You may not be able to see your name, so you'll need to check with manager to make sure the name is changed.
