Does anyone know if this is a scam? |
I received this from a business acquaintance. Bob Thanks everyone,I thought it sounded goofy! it's a well known BS email...not so much a scam because they don't try to get your info though there have been some cases of this email being sent out with viruses attached. Ignore it. No such thing It is absolutely not real. This is an e-mail chain-letter hoax that has been going around for years. Microsoft does not track your email, and has no intention of giving out money like that. Don't forward the email, and tell whoever sent it to you to stop as well. This has been around for about five years: Technically speaking, this is not a scam, it is your typical chain letter hoax. There is no way Microsoft can do the kind of tracking explained in this e-mail. |
