I'm confused. Is this realy true? this is what it says.....

This is very interesting! We all need to read it from start
to finish......... and send it on to anyone who will read it.

Maybe this is why our American Muslims are so quiet and not speaking out about any atrocities.

Can a good Muslim be a good American?

This question was forwarded to a friend who worked in Saudi Arabia for 20 years.

The following is his reply:

Theologically - no. . . . Because his allegiance is to Allah, The moon God of Arabia.

Religiously - no. . . . Because no other religion is accepted by His Allah except Islam (Quran, 2:256) (Koran).

Scripturally - no. . . . Because his allegiance is to the five Pillars of Islam and the Quran.

Geographically - no. . . . Because his allegiance is to Mecca , to which he turns in prayer five times a day.

Socially - no. . . . Because his allegiance to Islam forbids him to make friends with Christians or Jews.

Politically - no. . . . Because he must submit to the mullahs (spiritual leaders), who teach annihilation of Israel and destruction of America, the great Satan.

Domestically - no. . . . Because he is instructed to marry four women and beat and scourge his wife when she disobeys him (Quran 4:34).

Intellectually - no. . . . Because he cannot accept the American Constitution since it is based on Biblical principles, and he believes the Bible to be corrupt.

Philosophically - no. . . . Because Islam, Muhammad, and the Quran do not allow freedom of religion and expression. Democracy and Islam cannot co-exist. Every Muslim government is either dictatorial or autocratic.

Spiritually - no. . . . Because when we declare "one nation under God," the Christian's God is loving and kind, while Allah is NEVER referred to as Heavenly father, nor is he ever called love in The Quran's 99 excellent names.
Therefore after much study and deliberation, perhaps we
should be very suspicious of ALL MUSLIMS in this country.
They obviously cannot be both "good" Muslims and good Americans.

Regarding his refusal to use the Bible, it isn't Obama. It was a Minnesota Congressman named Keith Ellison.

Sorry - I originally thought you were promoting this crap. Now I see you're not. What I have here now is a real answer: Obama is not a Muslim, and it wouldn't matter if he were. Most of those items apply just as well to Christianity, and whoever wrote that crap is a shoddy excuse for an American.

I think that is really awful to say that. It is like saying that a Republican can not be a good american, or ANYONE who doesn't believe in the same things you do. It is rude, and very inconsiderate.

A lot of those things can be said for christianity as well.

I think there is some truth to it because when Muslims are actually asked what their views are, they do indeed express some of these kinds of views.

Oi! I seem to remember this question being asked in England about Members of the Church of Rome (Roman Catholics to some of you) In fact the answer has largely never been in doubt. They have been loyal to the Crown, you only have to see some of the names and military units on the casualty lists to know that. Whilst I to have my doubts about Muslims in UK I think many of them would be very pleased if certain men of undue influence were sent back to the place from which they came or carries out that which they advocate

Interesting bit of spin. This e-mail you got is a mixture of verses from the Koran and someones personal opinion. Note that the points made using the Koran verses--could equally as well apply to Xtians. Using these verses to support that position is tatamount to saying xtains can't be good americans either. The rest is just bigoted personal opinion. The idea is that the sections sort of spin doctered that use verses in the Koran give heavy weight to those that aren't. We all know that christians are good americans--therefore--the verses from the Koran do not support the bigoted tripe that followed. As far as Obama goes--he converted from islam about 20 years ago--his mother being american his father a muslim. The problem that should be addressed with obama is that he is a great motivational speaker--he turns a great phrase about change--but he is very very short on substance. In his short tenure in state and federal legislature he voted present about half the time--meaning he did not take a position on the bill. While I am not a supporter of hillory at all--the positions she takes are fleshed out--while I may not agree with her politics--when she comes up with a plan--there is substance and not rhetoric to it. The smart democrats will nominate her for that reason--and not this bigoted tripe from an email.
