Has some girl stay with me while she attended school, she moved, i get her bills!? |
Girl stayed here during school, moved away but didn't change address, i've been getting her bills, which i forward to her. Keep asking her to change her address but no luck! Any way I can do it, I'm tired of forwarding her mail, and the cost is adding up too - PLEASE HELP!!! i've put it back in mail box with 'forward to:' or no longer at this address, but the mail keeps coming, i'm just tired of looking at it and having to deal with it, thanks for all your help ;) it shouldn't cost anything to forward, I have done it many times. Just circle the address, put an arrow and write forward to w/the new address. If it's not first class it's not your responsibility...or if you want to not deal w/it write return to sender and "moved" on it the mail will eventually stop. stop forwarding her mail! she's not going to change her address because you're taking care of everything for her. or you can call the companies and tell them she doesn't live there anymore. best of luck Don't forward them...write on them something like moved or return to sender-moved. Put them back in your mail box as outgoing mail and the mail carrier will take them back. The post office will get the idea and you wont' get them anymore. just write... no longer at this address, return to sender.. and stick it back in the mailbox Write on the front of the envelopes, "Not at this address" and stick it back in the mailbox. Just write. "No Longer at this address" on the envelope, and give it back to the mail man. dont forward it, leave it in the mailbox and write wrong address on it. Stop paying her bills. If your name isnt on them then you arent responsible for them. Just write on the envelope FORWARD TO: and then her new address. Easy, just stop forwarding them to her, then she will learn not to do stuff like this or maybe she dosent no how to ring her and ask her if she wants you to change the adresse for her. Hopee i helpedd x Go to post office an d get a change of address card, fill it out, sign her name and put it in the mail drop off box. You don't have to forward her mail. Just write "Not at this address" or "Return to sender" on the front of the envelope and put it in the mailbox. This will get it back to the sender as a bad address. If they continue to send them after you've done this a couple of times, just throw them in the trash. You've done all you can. Another option is you could call whoever is sending mail and tell them she no longer lives with you and give them her new address. I suspect she's abandoning her bills. Stop forwarding them because she's probably throwing them away. Write return to sender on the mail and let usps sort it out. When I had people stay with me and I kept getting their mail I would send them back but put no such person lives here,or fill out a change of address card for that person to go to the post office or a relative of theirs. Go to the post office and tell them to ONLY deliver mail to the individuals in your household and give them the names of the residents. Tell them the issue and they will work with you. Tell the post office not to deliver any mail addressed to her to your address because no one by that name lives there. |
