I can not download attachments using Yahoo, why ?

But I can forward mail to my Hotmail acct. Then I can download
the attachments. How do I fix this?

I recently had this issue suddenly crop up. I had just upgraded to Norton 2008. To troubleshoot, I disabled all 3rd party IE browser plug-ins (Tools-Internet Options-Advanced-uncheck "Enable third-party browser extensions") and restarted IE and found that attachments downloaded as usual. Then I re-enabled 3rd party extensions and went back and started disabling the plug-ins one by one (I started with Symantec plug-ins as I guessed Norton was the culprit) and found a plug-in that caused the problem ("Norton Confidential" filename: coIEPlg.dll). You can disable plug-ins by going to Tools-Manage Add-ons, select an enabled plug-in and click the disable radio button. This will probably require closing and restarting IE afterward.

I don't know whether this is specifically the cause of your problem or not but it is probably some plug-in interfering with the file download. I went around and around with Norton on this (they actually told me it was my ISP's problem!) until I finally got someone at Norton to admit that there was a bug... but only AFTER I found the solution and told them I knew what was the cause (and by the way, Yahoo techs helped greatly with this.... and for free).

I have exact same problem - for me it also works fine when sending the mail to hotmail, and downloading it from there.

I don't gen an error when downloading, but the download dialog box never shows the status bar, and just newer download the file...

Is there any solution out there?

Just click on forward and enter the other account's address. If you mean automatically for all mail then no. You need a Plus account to do it. 鉁?/div>
