I have asked this already but, can anyone advise please?

I have lot of e mails on my BT account and will be changing to new Internet provider sometime soon. What i cannot figure out is a really quick and easy way to keep all my e mails. Sorted the photo's and documents but really need to keep e mails, I have asked the question already but if i am honest im not really clear on this. Other than forwarding everything to yahoo account which is laborious and time consuming. I am worried that i will lose important stuff.

I had a BT accout about 5 years ago and, still use it and recieve e-mails through it.

I don't know what the policy is regarding e-mail addresses but it seems if you continue to use it the e-mail address is not closed.
Where do your e-mails reside?
If they are on the BT server, maybe it would be best to start using an e-mail application like Outlook or Outlook Express, which would move all your e-mails automatically on to your PC, even if you did not delete them from the server copy. That way you would have a copy if anything ever did happen to the server copy.

Forwarding is really the only way. You could copy and paste all word files into a word document on your computer. And save all your photos to a computer. It might be slightly faster.
