I am lost..boy troubles..?

me and this guy have been talking..its been good. Aside from me and my difficult self. I am not one to wear my heart on my sleeve,lets say ive learned not to do so. But he is so OUT there so straight forward. Well he has said he is VERY into me and has asked me out several times, today i go sure let me handle some stuff then call me and you can pick me up.
He didn't call, and i know he had to go home and pick up his check, there has been times his check wasnt in the mail.
Should i take it as being stood up or wait for him to call?....
i called to make sure he was alright, his phone was temporarly out
---------------i talked to him he said he thought i just said yes to get him to stop asking...so thats why he didn't call, and some girl kept calling and he told me to talk to her and get a message and say he wasnt there.....HELP

MAybe another girl likes him
