Geometry testing help?

Does anyone have any advise for helping a 9th grader retain the information they've study for a test in their head so they can put it down on paper?

My daughter seems to do well with her geometry homework, she studies for her tests, studies with a tutor (who is wonderful) but when it comes time to do the test something doesn't quite translate from her head to her pencil/hand onto the paper.

Her last test she said she knew everything, & the teacher suggested (after a conference) that she take the test in another room so she is not distracted by the other students or gets concerned that everyone is finishing before her, which is what she did. She felt confident that she did well, unfortunately today she found out she only got a 61% (D).

Any suggestion, advise, help would be greatly appreciated! Trying to get a copy of the test from her teacher so the tutor can go over it with her tomorrow, and she's going into tutorial tomorrow to discuss this with the teacher.

I too am a 9th grader in geometry with a current avg of 103 due to a 108 on a major test of some sort, but I find it helpful not to try to memorize it all but to remember key words like in a definition that way its less stressful and im able to remember an answer just from about 2 or 3 words
