How do i create a room for a conference without having our friends know intrude in our meeting?

There are services such as gotomeeting.com that will allow you to set up a password-protected room to host a meeting. In addition, these services will allow you to do other things such as use the other person's computer, with their permission, to correct problems or show them how to do a task, or make a presentation so that everyone sees it on their computer at the same time. A very useful resource, I have found. I've never initiated it personally, but have participated with other companies who use the service regularly.
