I NEED TO get a Chat room assigned for my group of people.?

I want a permament chat room assigned as I have a continually growing group of users AND joining a private chat (conference) room is awkward as it requires constant monitoring to see if others are on-line AND then you must invite them to the conference room...IDEAS please... iF i UNDERSTAND Group Chat i BELIEVE THIS REQUIRES ALL USERS TO BE A MEMBER OF THE GROUP TO CHAT BUT THIS may facilatate this kind of need???

Yahoo used to have user created rooms and private rooms but unforunately no longer offers such services because if I remember correctly from the news an increasing number of pedophiles are abusing the services into making actual contacts with children. Right now there isn't anything similiar out there that I am aware of...
