Other than a conference invitation, is there anyway to create a by invitation room only...?

Since booting never seems to stop and childish behavior will always be around, is there a way to create and keep a by invitation only room.?

As far as yahoo Messnjerk no they removed that and disabling pms from people not on your list to help booters .

Certain third party chat programs which are yahoo based as in work with yahoo allow you to create rooms , also using these will prevent you from being booted thus mocking the booters which will make them learn to stop attempting to boot you and move on to someone else . These clients as well tutorials on how to use them can be found on the cover of the Yahoo! Chat Help group link below as well in the links section . I think Ymlite and Yazak have the feature your looking for the others may as well .
