Hi, every time i join a room i get a message saying "you are not authorised to join the conference"?

Unfortunately this is a pretty common problem in yahoo chat sometimes. The message your getting pertains to the voice features in chat. I find personally that if you just stay in the room a minute or two that the little green button will light up and you can indeed use voice chat. If not then try leaving the room and re-entering it. Not to worry its not your computer and its not your messenger acting up, it's just a yahoo issue that comes and goes. If your noticing other problems while using your messenger like not being able to get into chat or not being able to have conversations via yahoo messenger then I would suggest going back the the 7.0 version of messenger which you can find at http://www.oldversion.com
