WHy Can't i use my mic in a conference?

i cant speak or hear any thing throu my headset and my talk button doesn't light up green and i cant check the hands free box in the conference room.

ARE YOU USING WINDOWS VISTA AND CANNOT GET VOICE IN ROOMS OR CONFERENCES? Yahoo voice in the chat room or in voice conferences (different than PC to PC calling) is not compatible with Windows Vista. Yahoo is releasing a messenger for Windows Vista sometime in the coming months (they are very vague). I am hoping for the sake of many they are able to resolve this problem. Right now there is an alternative to Yahoo Messenger, the Trillian chat client that works for many people who have Vista and they are able to get voice though it is a little tricky so be sure to read the instructions. You can choose to use Yahoo Messenger for the main chat room screen and then go into the chat room with Trillian for voice using a different Yahoo ID.
