Why can't i connect to yahoo chat anymore? |
I recently reinstalled Windows on my pc and afterwards installed the latest version of yahoo messenger. But ever since I did that yahoo chat doesn't connect properly... The "join room" window opens alright, but if I succeed in entering a room, I see no writing. Voice works okay, I can see the room list, but I dont see ppl writing or joining and leaving the room. I can add messages myself - which is pointless since I don't receive answers or at least they don't show. Sometimes the chat window doesn't open at all, and if I retry connecting I get an alert that I'm already in the room. Changing rooms doesn't work, and if it does I get the same result. There is no problem with talking to people on my list via pm, I can't invite them to conferences though. I see myself in the conference room and they me, but I don't see them and if I try sending a message I get an alert saying that no one joined the conference... if its yahoo messenger 7.5 beta then uninstall it .& install 7us version (coz lots of problem in this ) I would check for windows updates I had the same problem then went to windows updates and check for new updates downloaded them and everything worked fine after that. |

Address it with your boss asap. If you were to have your own room for work--then you should have it--asap. Privacy is everything when you need it on your job.
