Do you ever perform your own little odd psychological social experiments?

whenever i have to sit in a waiting area, instead of 'balancing' the room, i always sit right next to the only person in the room just to watch them squirm a little. today at work we had a meeting, and i was the first one in the conference room, so i sat at the head of the table. threw everyone off. boss sat beside me, therefore the meeting was directed away from me, if you will. i knew that everyone was going to try to gang up on me, so i sat there relaxed and didnt say much. just let them dig their own graves. it was kind of fun. especially watching the one guy with his arms crossed over his chest, in silent defense mode. i love body language, analyzing it, and using it to my advantage. here is one for ya, rocking back and forth on your heels and toes intimidates people. try it sometime. cops use it.

I too love body language. My dad gave me a book on the topic as a teen and told me never to believe what people say but observe body language. lol.. it is easy when you know all about the topic to have fun with it... Best wisdom ever given to me was to know the art of body language. I am definitely a people watcher.

mdinkins7024, has a considerable inferiority complex which is why he feels the need to gain advantage over others. That way he can tell himself he is superior and gain some kind of equilibrium. What he ends up doing though is alienating himself from others and gradually earning the dislike and contempt of all around him. He lowers his self-esteem and is viewed increasingly by others as a creep.

Now that brings me on to you, why do you want to make other people squirm? Same reason?

My reason to watch behaviour and body language is to establish a pattern and identify the reasons behind the actions. It's a pattern just the same as solar orbit.

I do it all the time with my other half, I catch him in mistruths all the time that way. Kinda make you fell superior dosn't it.

It wouldn't work on me. I know all the moves.
