Assassins Creed. Computer access still denied???

So I beat the game...but I still cant access the computer on Dr. Vidic's desk or the one in the conference room. How do i get approved access? And is that REALLY how the game ends? With just Desmond being left alone in that area?

first you have to go to the small computer and get the ID from it. then you can access lucy's computer and then Vidics
